The Indian Premier League (IPL) is a cricket tournament in India run by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). It's like a big cricket party where teams from different Indian cities compete. They include players from India and around the world.

How the IPL works:

- Teams are divided into two groups. They play more games within their group.
- Top teams play Qualifier matches to reach the final.

Rules for teams:
- Each team must have at least 16 players, a physiotherapist, and a coach.
- They can have up to 10 foreign players but only four can play in a match.
- Each team must have at least 14 Indian players and six players under 22 years old.
